What’s Happening to the Rohingya

For decades, the Rohingya have faced systematic persecution and displacement, enduring violence and severe restrictions on their rights—amounting to genocide. Their plight continues today, with hundreds of thousands living as refugees and many more suffering under oppressive conditions in their homeland at the hands of the Myanmar military and the Arakan Army (AA).

Our mission is to protect and promote the rights of the Rohingya people, with a vision of a peaceful, just, and thriving future for the Rohingya community worldwide.

Our Mission

  • Serve as the unified political voice of the Rohingya.
  • Reclaim and protect the Rohingya’s indigenous identity and rightful citizenship in Arakan State, Myanmar.
  • Advocate for a safe, dignified, and just return of Rohingya refugees to their ancestral homes with full legal rights, security guarantees, and international oversight.
  • Engage in dialogue on the future federal structure of Myanmar, including with all the stake-holders such as Rakhine community leaders, Myanmar’s democratic forces, Arakan Army, etc.
  • Address and oppose the campaign of Rohingya erasure and genocide being carried out by Burmese military and Arakan Army.
  • Represent the Rohingya people in international forums such as the United Nations, OIC, ASEAN, European Union and others.

  • To make Arakan, under all circumstances, a conducive place for Rohingya to live in dignity, equality, and peace in their ancestral lands, free from oppression, with full rights and recognition as an integral part of Myanmar.
