Anwar Arkani was born in Rakhine State, Myanmar. He studied Computer Information Systems at Indiana University, Bloomington. He also holds a BA in Business Technology from Indiana University. He is the President of the Rohingya Association of Canada. Anwar has been a long-time advocate for Rohingya rights and resettlement. He leads awareness campaigns and engages with Canadian institutions. He promotes education, justice, and integration for Rohingya in Canada. He currently resides in Canada.
